Fall Event Spotlight: Southern States Championship

Southern bands: Don't miss the USBands Southern States Championship this fall!

With A and Open Class Nationals held in the Northeast, most southern bands can't make the trip -- at least not every year. Our Southern States Championship offers an opportunity for bands accross the South to come together and perform on one field in front one stellar adjudication panel.

As in recent years, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Finley Stadium will house Southern States in 2013. With its turf field; huge, high press box; and convenient, well-kept facilities, this stadium is an ideal home for a USBands event of this caliber.

"The facilities were excellent. No long trudges were needed to get from place to place, all student assistants were helpful and encouraging, and the layout was simple and efficient to accommodate so many performers. Extremely well done," said the band director at Charles D. Owen High School after last year's Southern States Championship.

Bands from North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama have already signed up! Don't miss your chance to perform in this great collegiate stadium, receive high-quality adjudication and compete for the title of USBands Southern States Champion.
