Important Weather Update for Oct. 12-13

A change for MD; all other shows set to run as planned

Team USBands is currently working with each of this weekend's host schools to ensure the best possible experience for all participating bands. While there may be some clouds in the sky, and we may be dancing between the raindrops, the shows will run outdoors if at all possible.

"Our show hosts rely on these events to support their scholastic band programs, and regardless of the weather, they're looking forward to a successful weekend," said USBands Director Justin Heimbecker. "So we hope you'll make plans, buy a ticket, grab a hot dog and a T-shirt, and show just how well we can all support each other in our commitment to the band programs."

Important Weather Update:

At the request of the school administration, the competition at Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland has been moved indoors. This is an unfortunate but necessary decision, as the past few days of rain have soaked the grass field. Details and updates are being emailed to band directors as they develop.

As of 2 p.m. on Friday, October 11, all other USBands events are set to run as planned. Please stay tuned to USBands.org and Facebook.com/USBands or Twitter.com/USBands for weather updates!
