Plans are underway for a blockbuster five events to showcase marching music precision and pageantry in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Kicking off the 2014 home-show season will be a return to Central Pennsylvania and Chambersburg High School on Friday, June 27 when Drum Corps: An American Tradition features The Cadets, the Bluecoats, the Boston Crusaders, Spirit of Atlanta and another corps or two to be announced in the near future.

The following evening, Drum Corps: An American Tradition returns to Central New Jersey, when Jackson Liberty High School will host a Saturday evening full of exciting performances. The Cadets and Cadets2 will host the Bluecoats, the Boston Crusaders, Spirit of Atlanta, the Raiders, 7th Regiment and the Bayonne Bridgemen Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps.

One week later, Drum Corps: An American Tradition will roll into our nation's birthplace in Philadelphia with a Fourth of July weekend celebration at PPL Park. The Cadets and Cadets2 will once again team up to host a one-of-a-kind event featuring the top corps from the worlds of both DCI and DCA in the fantastic PPL Park setting in Chester, Pa. Five finalist corps from the DCI side of the ledger will perform, including the defending DCI World Champion Carolina Crown, the Bluecoats, the Boston Crusaders and Spirit of Atlanta. On the DCA side, Cadets2 will host four 2013 finalist corps from the ranks of the all-age division (to be announced soon) to make up the 10-corps Independence Weekend spectacular that you certainly will not want to miss!

The Cadets and other top DCI corps will then return for their late-season swing up the East Coast on Wednesday, July 30 when West Chester University will once again host a showcase of fan-favorites Carolina Crown, The Cadets, The Cavaliers, the Crossmen and Jersey Surf. For fans who have attended events in West Chester in the past, YEA! is reconfiguring the seating in the stadium to make it a much more comfortable experience. Watch for details to be released soon!

The final home show on the calendar for 2014 will be on Thursday, July 31, as the DCI Tour of Champions returns to the New York/New Jersey region. While the venue has yet to be confirmed, the July 31 Tour of Champions event will be one of only five regular-season events in which The Cadets, Carolina Crown, the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Phantom Regiment, the Bluecoats and The Cavaliers appear together at the same event. Watch for further details soon, as YEA! looks to finalize a venue for the event that has become a must-see for drum corps fans each year.

Tickets for these events will be on sale shortly, along with seats for DCI's Premier Events, allowing you to sit with Cadets fans and alumni while a portion of your ticket purchase goes to help fund The Cadets.  Cadets seats will be available for the DCI Southwestern Championship in San Antonio, the DCI Southeastern Championship in Atlanta, the DCI Eastern Classic in Allentown, Pa., and the DCI World Championship in Indianapolis, Ind.
