Cadets Brass Positions Available

A note from Caption Supervisor Gino Cipriani

My name is Gino Cipriani, and I am the brass caption head for The Cadets.

As the brass section takes shape for the 2014 season, the level of talent is inspiring!

At this point, we are looking for two more stellar mellophone players and a lead trumpet player or two to complete The 2014 Cadets Hornline. We could also use one more experience baritone or tuba player.

While anyone is more than welcome, previous drum corps experience is highly preferred.

Our next rehearsal weekend is the weekend of April 25-27. If you would like to attend, please e-mail Steve Shuey at steve@yea.org and he will give you all the information you need to prepare for your first camp with The Cadets!

The Cadets’ Brass Program is deeply rooted in precision and excellence. Our goal is to provide members with a life-changing experience in brass performance, pedagogy and self-improvement amidst a summer of unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships.

With the recent announcement of our 2014 program, Promise: An American Portrait, and some fantastic ensemble moments at this past weekend's rehearsal, this year is sure to be a Cadets classic, and I would hate for you to miss it!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ginocipriani@gmail.com.

I hope to see you at our next rehearsal!
