Ask Me Mondays

Another way to connect with the 80th-Anniversary Cadets

The Cadets and Director George Hopkins have always been an open book to fans and alumni. And for the corps' eightieth anniversary, we hope to take the conversation to another level, bringing everyone along for the ride. 80thanniversarylogo_blue_2014.jpg

Leading up to the 2014 season, we'll keep you updated on the latest news about the corps, the 2014 show and anything else that may be on the agenda for the maroon and gold.

As we have already announced, every Tuesday night from Feb. 25 through May 6, we will host a webinar conversation with the staff, members, alumni and fans about the corps. You'll have chance to meet the people who are integral in the success of this year's corps.

In addition to this unparalleled access you'll get through our Tuesday webinar series, check us out on Facebook every week for Ask Me Monday.  Simply pose a question - any question - to George Hopkins or any Cadets staff member, and you might get an in-depth response.

Just post your question as a comment on our Facebook page on Monday, and we'll randomly select a lucky winner to receive an answer on Hop's Blog the following Monday!

"You can pretty much learn whatever you want about the corps through our website and social media channels, but I'm still amazed at how many people don't understand the what, how and why of what we do," Director George Hopkins said. "Through Ask Me Monday, I hope to open up the dialogue for us to share our point of view as an organization and what makes us tick."

The third piece to The Cadets' eightieth-anniversary communication plan is the ever-popular Hop's Blog. Hopkins spends time digging into some of the issues and items that not only face the marching activity, but also running a small business and a growing non-profit. Check out Hop's Blog for a little more detail on The Cadets, drum corps, the marching band world and more.
