Color Guard Caption Supervisor

Eric Babula returns to The Cadets in 2014 for his second year as Color Guard Caption Supervisor, his fifth year as a member of The Cadets Color Guard Staff, and his eleventh year with the corps.

Originally form Burlington, N.J., he currently lives in Dallas, Texas, where he is the Color Guard Director at Flower Mound High School.

He began his career in color guard at Innuendo Winterguard in 2002 and 2004, and went on to march with Black Gold Winterguard in 2007.

EricBabula_liquid_2005.jpgwhitestripe.pngAt the young age of 16, Eric received a spot in The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 2002, where he marched for six seasons, winning the DCI World Championship title with the corps in 2005. He is best known as the White Rabbit from 2006, which was also his first of two years as a Cadets guard captain - a position he also held during his age-out summer in 2007.

In addition to marching Cadets, Eric performed at Tokyo DisneySea, a part of Tokyo Disneyland, in 2005 and 2006.

He has had the honor of teaching and designing for Black Gold Winterguard (2007-2012), Mansfield Legacy High School (2007-2010) and Flower Mound High School (2008-present).

He currently works with The Woodlands High School, Alter Ego Winterguard and Cypress Independent.
